Internship reports may be picked up only at the Internship Office!
To prepare for and support the school-based teaching internship, there will be one tutorial each for elementary school teacher candidates and middle school teacher candidates. Ms. Verena Schamberger will lead the course for middle school teacher candidates, while Ms. Sabine Reichel and Mr. Wilhelm Herbst will lead the course for elementary school teacher candidates.
Important information about the elementary/middle school teaching internship in spring 2026 can be found here.
Please note that the new “Act on Protection Against Measles and Strengthening Vaccination Prevention” (Measles Protection Act) has been in effect since March 1, 2020. Through this new requirement to provide proof of measles protection, the legislature aims to effectively improve protection against the transmission of measles in institutions such as kindergartens or schools. This means that, as part of your school practicums, you must provide proof of the appropriate protection (“Proof of 2 measles vaccinations” or “Medical certificate confirming immunity to measles, for which reason proof of vaccination is not required” or “a medical certificate stating a permanent medical contraindication that prevents the administration of the measles vaccine” or “certification from a government agency or other institution confirming that a medical certificate of immunity or permanent contraindication has already been submitted”). Your protection status will be verified by the school where you are completing your internship. If this protection is not guaranteed, you may not be able to complete the internship. Therefore, I urge you to make sure you have the necessary documentation ready in advance and to bring it with you when you start your internship.
