A warm welcome to the Department of School Pedagogy, specializing in empirical classroom research! The slides from the introductory session will help you get your bearings.
We wish you a great start to your studies!
Dear Students,
The registration period for all courses in the School Pedagogy program at the Nuremberg Campus, Regensburger Straße (Chair of Prof. Dr. Michaela Gläser-Zikuda), begins on Monday, September 29, 2025 (9:00 a.m.) and ends on Friday, October 24, 2025 (11:59 p.m.).
All courses follow the “first-come, first-served” principle, meaning registration is processed in chronological order. Contacting instructors before the registration period begins will not be effective. For the sake of fairness, we will NOT circumvent or override FAU’s official registration procedure—if a seminar is full, it is full, and you will need to choose an alternative course if necessary.
Therefore: Please note the maximum enrollment limits for each course and, if necessary, find an alternative course—seminars CANNOT be filled beyond their enrollment limits—and letters to instructors citing various reasons CANNOT override these regulations (including room capacity limits, safety regulations, etc.). Please keep this in mind when planning—overlapping courses are unavoidable, and managing them is part of semester planning.
Sufficient courses will be offered for both Module 1 School Pedagogy (94831) and Module 2 School Pedagogy (94841). Please also refer to the general information on the homepage under the “Teaching & Studies” tab, particularly regarding the module structure.
We wish you a great start to the winter semester 2025/2026.
