Research and Teaching Unit for Educational and Instructional Research

The Research and Teaching Unit for Educational and Instructional Research is responsible for teaching in the field of school pedagogy for all teacher training courses at FAU (primary school, middle school, secondary school and grammar school). In addition, the Chair is responsible for the educational science modules “Quality Development in Educational Institutions” in the Master’s programme in Educational Science and Empirical Educational Research.
In terms of research, the Chair focuses in particular on empirical teaching and learning research, teacher training research and higher education research.
