Presentation at the 5th Global Forum for Teacher Professional Development (UNESCO Teacher Education Centre)

Berit Breins, a PhD student at the department, took part (online) in the 5th Global Forum for Teacher Professional Development organised by the UNESCO Teacher Education Centre in Shanghai, China. As part of the panel ‘Teachers’ Social-Emotional Development & Support for Students’, she presented her paper ‘Relevance of Well-Being for Innovation at School – The Role of Teachers’ Social-Emotional Competence in Times of Change’.

The focus was on the importance of teachers’ well-being and the role of social-emotional competences in school development and innovation processes. The forum brought together international experts from the fields of research, policy and practice, and provided the setting for the presentation of the new World Report on Teacher Development Trends 2015.
